WIFI means wireless speed!
You can’t go anywhere today without it. I’m talking about wifi or wireless networking. If you go to a library, airport, most any hotel, and many restaurants nowadays you will run into wifi. You may never know it unless you have your laptop along and try to get online. Then you will find how easy it is to access your e-mail or favorite website from these “hotspots”.
The convenience of that away from home web access can be harmful for your PC if you don’t have a firewall and some anti virus software installed. Wifi connections are notorious for lack of safety precautions so you must keep that in mind if you want to get info at your bank, for instance. Do not use passwords or visit sites that are critical as they may not be securely blocked from some hacker who wants your info.
